In this episode of my web series, “Comedy Sit Downs” I met up with producer, director and writer George Schlatter. George was the producer of the comedy variety show “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In” that ran for 140 episodes from January 22, 1968, to March 12, 1973, on the NBC television network. One famous episodes featured Richard Nixon while he was campaigning (the campaign he won) for President, this cameo was attributed to him winning the election. “Sock it to me!”
