This weekend we took a trip up to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park to enjoy the cool weather and do some sight seeing in a time of year that we don’t normally go up. I brought one of my newest puppets with us, Harper the Mouse. I was planning on only taking a photo of Harper with my niece and nephew that joined Autumn and I on our trip, which I did. Then I had the idea of making a little travel video with him for Instagram with my iPhone.

A friend of mine introduced me to GoPro’s free app called Quik and I have been testing it lately for videos on Instagram. I cannot control it enough for my needs but for an easy and fast cut like this video it works. I found tricks to make the cuts I want but I cannot control the type of transitions.
