This weekend is a time to reflect about those that we have lost while protecting our country’s freedom. While we have the chance to go county fairs, movie theater or have a barbecue there are thousands of men, women and four-legged heroes fighting overseas that can loose their lives any day.
Don’t let this weekend be the only time you think about those that have fallen protecting our freedom.
I spent the weekend with my family and we took a few hours to stop at the San Bernardino County Fair. That’s where I found the flag above to photograph.
My favorite time to photograph the fair is at night but the closest I got to that this year was leaving right when the sun was setting. Using no filters, I photographed these images with my Nikkor 24-70mm lens and the colors I was very pleased with.
We always enjoy seeing the livestock when we are there and this time my niece pointed out that a goat ate their ribbons so they had to hang them a few feet higher. Happy Memorial Weekend everyone and God bless our armed forces.
