At the Sequoia National Park there is an easy trail to walk with kids called Big Tree Trail, a lot of the trail is even on a wooden deck, which ads to the charm. Over the weekend Autumn and I took our nieces and nephews there for a fun weekend adventure. During our trip we saw many butterflies and even had a few come up and land next to my wife, that’s how you know she is sweet.
On this trail though were many butterflies in fields but since the par is trying to let nature take over the area again I did not want to walk on the field. There was a fallen tree and at the end of that tree was a flower with this butterfly on it.
This was a perfect opportunity for me to get up close to a butterfly without, trampling nature. When photographing nature, I always try my best to let nature not be disturbed.
I learned from a follower on Instagram that this butterfly is an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, its was beautiful.
